some helpful information on chihuahuas

Here, I've provided some tips on how to get certain colors and or markings on puppies.
---- Breeding a chihuahua with tan markings to another tan marked chihuahua will produce all puppies with tan markings!!
---- Breeding a chocolate (b/b) chihuahua to a blue chihuahua (d/d) will produce chocolate & blue or lilac puppies (b/b) & (d/d) !!
---- Breeding a chihuahua with a white tail tip, white feet, chest, stomach, throat, or ring around neck (Irih Marked) to another chihuahua with the same markings can only produce puppies with those same markings!!
---- Their are two ways to find the "b" gene in chihuahuas: Look for a chi with yellow or ruby eyes or a chihuahua with a brown nose. If you breed that chihuahua with a black one it will be possible to produce chocolates.
---- To create a brindle effect both Eumelanin and the Phaeomelanin must be present!!

----Be sure to unplug electrical cords, if your puppy chews on a live wire it could lead to burns, electrocution, fire or even death.
----Keep ribbons away from your puppy and off of their neck, if the ribbon were to get caught on something your puppy could choke. Or in another case the puppy might chew on the ribbon, swallowing it which could result in digestive problems.
----Keep plastic bags up, just like a child your puppy could suffocate.
----Keep anything small up and out of reach (buttons, beads, bottle tops, pop tabs, ANYTHING SMALL) to keep pup from choking.
----Keep your puppy off balconies, porches, decks, etc. (COMMON SENSE)
----Keep your dog away from MUSHROOMS.
